What are some different variations about Vampires?

most modern vampires are an adaptation from dracula who himself was based on the traditional european night time haunting demon with a pact with the devil.

originally they weren't hurt by light it only awoke them but the movie nosferatu that introduced that it hurts them.

some vampires are cursed humans while others are straight up demons while other can be portrayed as mutants like morpheus from the 90s spiderman cartoon.

it seems some can be created by biting humans necks others are born from a vampiric parent like blade.

some modern vampires sparkle at night because they are fairy vampires like tinkerbell had a kid with dracula.

there are also wraiths which need soul energy to live and ghouls that need flesh to live that are roughly on par with vampires but never really got the same level of popularity so they never got as many different incarnations like vampires have.

when it comes down to it you can make up whatever you want and some things just call supernatural beings vampires even if they are just dumb zombies after all things change over time for this exact reason and no other.

modern vampires have almost nothing to do with traditional vampires much like modern pro wrestling has only a few things in common with traditional pro catch wrestling.

This is probably the most disturbing vampire story ever...the concept of a fully sexual 53 year old that is in the body of a 9 year old girl is unsettling as hell. Also, these vampires are totally sophisticated and use/develop technology to advance their race while staying hidden. They also have an origin myth that some believe that they came from outer space originally.
