What do you think of this dream I had?
I dreamt that there was this guy. He was showing these people this Jesus movie. In the movie, there was the part of Jesus' scourging. They were beating the crap out of Jesus. I mean like enraged psychopaths or something. Jesus was in complete and total agony. Actually agony isn't quite the word to use to describe it. It was horrendous how they were just whacking at Him. I remember seeing it and hearing Jesus crying out Abba! That is all I seen was just the horrific scourging. I mean the people who were scourging Jesus were just beyond sadistic and cruel.
I want to say it wasn't the Passion. I seen that. It wasn't that. Speaking of the Passion, I think it should be named "The Tickle of the Christ". Why? Because I don't think it comes even a smidgy bit close to what Jesus really suffered.

The tongue is a deadly poison - no man can tame
This is how unbelievers "scourge" Jesus today. Words cut deep sometimes deeper than a whip. Once they are out of the mouth there is no taking them back.

Jesus suffered about as much as any other common vagabond of the day. Romans were quite harsh to their enemies. Do a little research. All kinds of gory stories.
