    Possibly distant relations, but there is nothing prominent on the Web linking them. Leo Ryan's death was the tragic loss of a public spirited politician in the murky politics of the late 70s.

    No, there is no relation between them. Leo Ryan would have been ashamed of Paul Ryan's views.
