Wedding Gift for brother. Ideas needed. Read Details?
My younger brother is getting married. It is going to cost our family about 5k just to go so the gift budget is a bit conservative. He is an outdoorsy guy, she is a southern belle. He makes way more money than our family does and has been living on his own for 10 years. I was thinking that a more sentimental or creative gift would be appreciated more than an expensive one considering he can afford to buy what ever his darling bride wants. Another thought is that they will be doing a great deal of traveling (road trip style) for work so I thought something that could be used on the road would be appreciated.
I feel lame asking for gift suggestions as I should know my own brother well well enough to find something on my own, but I moved away to college when he was 14 and we have not lived in the same state since, and quite honestly we have never been super close, love each other, but butted heads for years and just now starting to build a stronger relationship.

Make a photo album. Gather up any old photos. Ask your parents, or relatives for any photos of when he was younger. Do a timeline sort of thing. Photos starting from when he was a baby, to the most recent photos you have. Decorate the album with stickers that reflect his personality.

That is the best place for your gift search. They have the most special gift for couples who are getting married. I'm sure your brother would love to see a gift that his wife will also have. Mr. and Mrs Luggage tags was the one I have for my brother when he got married to his fiancee, and he was really thankful for it because his wife and him is usually away from each other. So, every time they see the luggage tag, they feel that they are still together. I believe your brother will like it too. Good luck!
