How to Go to Heaven According to the Word of God,. It is very simple to be saved and takes only a minute to explain. Please let me show you how to go to Heaven from the Bible, God's Word... You don’t have to belong to a church.

    Man is a sinner.

Isaiah 53:6, "All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the LORD hath laid on him the iniquity of us all."

John 3:3, "Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God."

Romans 3:10, "As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one."

Romans 3:23, "For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God."

There is a price on our sin―eternal death in Hell.

Romans 6:23, "For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord."

Romans 5:12, "Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned."

2nd Thessalonians 1:8, "In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ."

Revelation 20:15, "And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire."

Revelation 21:8, "But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death."

Jesus paid that price by dying on the cross and shedding His blood.

Romans 5:8, "But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us."

John 3:16, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

1st Timothy 1:15, "This is a faithful saying, and worthy of all acceptation, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners; of whom I am chief."

1st Peter 1:18-19, "Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers; But with the precious blood of Christ..."

By faith in Jesus Christ ALONE we can be saved.

Salvation is NOT found in a religion or good works, but in a person... The LORD JESUS CHRIST!

John 11:25, "Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live."

John 14:6, "Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me."

John 6:40, "And this is the will of him that sent me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day."

Mark 1:15, "And saying, The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel."

Acts 26:18, "To open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins, and inheritance among them which are sanctified by faith that is in me."

Romans 10:13, "For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved."

1st Corinthians 3:11, "For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ."

Galatians 3:26, "For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus."

HERE IS HOW YOU CALL UPON THE LORD

Do you admit that you are a GUILTY sinner under the condemnation of God's LAW, deserving of Hellfire?

Do you believe that Jesus is the Son of God (God in the flesh) who died upon the cross, sacrificing His precious blood to pay for your sins?

All you need to do to be saved is to BELIEVE upon the Lord Jesus Christ.

Perhaps you'd feel comfortable praying a sinner's prayer as did the publican in Luke 18:13... "And the publican, standing afar off, would not lift up so much as his eyes unto heaven, but smote upon his breast, saying, God be merciful to me a sinner."

Just as you were born physically to your parents, you get born spiritually into the Family of God when you believe on Jesus! (John 3:3). Please understand that we are not saved because we pray a prayer; but because we believe upon the Lord Jesus Christ. It is certainly appropriate to ask the Lord in prayer to forgive and save us; but it is our faith which prompts us to pray and ask for forgiveness of our sins. Salvation is of the heart, as we read in Romans 10:9-10. That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.

Source(s): 10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. (KJV) You do NOT have to be baptized or doing anything to go to Heaven other than trust upon the Lord as your Savior. Romans 4:5 proclaims... "But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness." The only sin which can prevent a person from being saved is UNBELIEF. Thus, unbelief is the only sin which a person needs to repent of to be saved. What a wonderful Savior!

John 4:24 "God is a Spirit, and those worshiping him must worship with spirit and truth"

First of all your worship must be without a fleshly view and it must be with truth.

Gal 5:8 "because he who is sowing with a view to his flesh will reap corruption from his flesh, but he who is sowing with a view to the spirit will reap everlasting life from the spirit"

Having a view to the flesh means you are leaving your life to satisfy the desires of your flesh which goes against God's laws.

Gal 5:19 "Now the works of the flesh are manifest, and they are fornication, uncleanness, loose conduct, 20 idolatry, practice of spiritism, enmities, strife, jealousy, fits of anger, contentions, divisions, sects, 21 envies, drunken bouts, revelries, and things like these. As to these things I am forewarning YOU, the same way as I did forewarn YOU, that those who practice such things will not inherit God’s kingdom"

Are you doing any of these things?

    TRUTH:

Our worship has to be with truth. Is there any truth that all who die will go to heaven? Notice this scripture to speaks of the condition of the dead:

Ecclesiastes 9:10"All that your hand finds to do, do with your very power, for there is no work nor devising nor knowledge nor wisdom in She′ol, the place to which you are going."

Ecclesiastes 9:5 “The living are conscious that they will die; but as for the dead, they are conscious of nothing at all.”

So how can someone that die have knowledge when they are in heaven? It contradicts what these two scriptures say. What does happen when you die? You are not conscious of anything. However, there is a hope of living again. Job asked God that question:

If an able-bodied man dies can he live again? . . . You will call, and I myself shall answer you. For the work of your hands you will have a yearning [or, long for].” (Job 14:14, 15)

Compare this to what Jesus said about what happens when you die:

(John 5:28, 29) Do not marvel at this, because the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice 29 and come out, those who did good things to a resurrection of life, those who practiced vile things to a resurrection of judgment.

He said "the hour is coming". So all who died does not immediately hear his voice to come out from death. It is done within time frame he is speaking of and it is a one time resurrection for all. Also, if he speaks of a resurrection of judgment who practice vile things, why would he do so in heaven when they supposedly already have been judged and approved to go to heaven? See how that would not make sense? Instead it is a designated time when all who died will hear his voice to be resurrected to the earth where we belong.

Psalms 37:10,11 And just a little while longer, and the wicked one will be no more; And you will certainly give attention to his place, and he will not be.11 But the meek ones themselves will possess the earth, And they will indeed find their exquisite delight in the abundance of peace"

No wicked, only meek ones on the earth. If it is understood that all who died just believing in Jesus go to heaven, then why not be apart of this scripture that says those who were good and meek, get to stay on the earth and the wicked will be no more. It is talking about a future for there will be peace. We don't have peace right now and those who practice vile things are still on the earth. So when is this promise?

That same scripture says "A little while longer". That is what we are waiting for. To read more here are some bible based articles to consider:

The original etymological word for heaven was, ' Haven ' a place in the higher mountainous regions of Mesopotamia where the GODS dwelled, Not Heaven!!! No one goes there!!! That's a false religious idea. The so-called righteous are to inherit the EARTH!!!! Most modern people are not familiar with the etymology of the ancient world, esp; Bible Readers!!!

You have to make the conscious choice before you die...or it will be too late.

"confess with your mouth that Jesus is LORD, and believe in your heart that He was Raised from the dead and you will be saved"

The description of Heaven is in Revelation 21. Quite an awesome place.

I hope to see you there!

  • It's only by God's choice that someone is chosen to serve in heaven and those going to heaven were called a "little flock" by Jesus and the Book of Revelation numbers them at 144,000. The rest of obedient mankind will receive everlasting life on a restored paradise earth, our home prepared by God.

    Hi Kidd,

How are you? It's been awhile.

Kidd, there's nothing we, ourselves can do because we're all imperfect. Only God is perfect. His son, Jesus Christ, paid for our sins. So, pray; ask God to help you be willing to be willing to let Him into your heart (He won't force Himself.); accept Him and His Ten Commandments; ask Him for help in honoring His Ten Commandments. Other than that, there's nothing any person can do to "earn points". God will have His judgement day. Then, and only then, will we be sent to Heaven or Hell according to His judgement. God doesn't want any human to go to Hell. Hell was a place for Satan and his devils. If people end up in Hell, it's for totally disrespecting God's Holy Spirit/Holy Comforter/Holy Guidance. ( On a lesser and more practical note, for example, school kids become expelled, or suspended, or ISD'd, or DSP'd when they CHOOSE not to follow the schools' rules; classes' rules; parental rules even though the school body was taught them.)

I hope this helps. Take care.

When we die we cannot do anything.

If you want to go to heaven you have to do all the work whilst you are still alive.

The work that God wants you to do is 'Love God and creation with all your heart'.

Once you start upon that then what you have to do next would come naturally.

You need to ask Jesus into your life as Lord and Savior and live His way of life and love. You need to live a life that is pleasing to God as illustrated in Matthew 25:34-40.

    Matthew 25:34-40

    New International Version (NIV)

34 “Then the King will say to those on his right, ‘Come, you who are blessed by my Father; take your inheritance, the kingdom prepared for you since the creation of the world. 35 For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, 36 I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.’

37 “Then the righteous will answer him, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink? 38 When did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or needing clothes and clothe you? 39 When did we see you sick or in prison and go to visit you?’

40 “The King will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.’

Everyone automatically goes to heaven - there is no other place to go to.

“There is a difference between wrongdoing with no premeditated desire to hurt someone and intentional evil. The degrees of harm to others from mischief to malevolence are carefully evaluated. A guiding principle in the spirit world is that wrongdoing, intentional or unintentional, on the part of all souls will need to be redressed in some form in a future life. This is not considered punishment as much as an opportunity for karmic growth. THERE IS NO HELL for souls, except perhaps on Earth.”
