Why is the government leanient towards black people/african american people whatever you prefer to be called?

Because we are the minority here. White people may not have their race based college funds and TV channels and history months. And why not? If Blacks can get it, why can't Whites?

Because White people are the majority. White people don't have to be referred to as White every time. They don't have to be refreshed in others' mind in order to get their fair share. Back in the past, your college funds were in the form of full ride scholarships and legacy acceptances. They may never had been made for White people. But if a Black person had asked for these things, he would be denied. Sure, he's safe now, but a White person always has a better chance of winning it. Our scholarships are designed for the people who well have been forgotten for their efforts. Same thing for BET, Whites may not have a race based channel, but that's because they don't need one. They will almost always be featured on a different channel, and it wouldn't be called the longest running white show in America.

As for White History Month, you can't have one, because there's nothing that the White people did that was for Whites only. You seriously think Henry Ford and Thomas Edison are going to get celebrated for being White? Is that really how you want to celebrate them? The only person that I could think of that did something for Whites was Adolf Hitler and I don't think you want to be associated with him.

Blacks on the other hand have to get this. Because people like WEB Du Bois and Martin Luther King, Jr. had to sacrifice their life, to prove to people that Black people weren't useless. They could just as well be doing something else and be like Edison and Ford, but because they slipped through the cracks, they had to widened the holes so that we could slip through as well. If we had just an American History Month, people would still have to play politics so that Black people wouldn't get left out. And then what Edison, someone who made the world a better place by technological advance compared to a Black man, whose simple life was to make Black people stand up on their own two feet, and did nothing else? Yeah, we would clearly see who would be vastly inferior.

White People can't truly have these things because you're not the minority and here, no one is actually against you. This idea that Whites need these things is just yourself playing the race card so you can feel entitled.Your little groupthink with other White people is flawed because believe it or not, most other White people still have their things. And they still will be on top. Affirmative Action may have cost you a job, but it didn't cost the ones that hired us. And before you say, it impedes on the Corporation's success. It won't because people don't give **** about what corporations do. You still buy their ****. No one cares about hard work. The American Dream wasn't based on that. It was based on how many cars you have and whether you can afford that beach house even though you're spiraling into debt.

Blacks on the other hand have to be kept fresh in others' mind so that no one will forget about us. We will always be that odd one. It has nothing do with giving us things simply because we're weak. It's remembering that we exist in these country too. I'll admit with the White Lady incident, some Blacks are ruining King and Du Bois's sacrifice, but Trayvon Martin didn't deserved to be killed simply because he wore a hoodie, and some random dude was feeling like Superman. And Hispanics could just be racist to Blacks as Whites. They don't speak for us.
