My pizza stone is cracked...can I still use it?
so my pizza stone is cracked right down the middle...pretty sure it's from when I put it room temperature into a hot oven. If I start it out in a hot oven can I still use it to put a pizza on it? Like put the 2 pieces together because they fit then just throw the pizza onto it? or will the dough like seep through into the crack?

You can absolutely use it. I don't have a pizza stone, just some tiles that I put into the oven - they are separate pieces and I have no problem.

Are you by any chance putting a cold (or even room temp.) stone into a hot oven? that'd make it crack.also, if it was washed and any moisture is still in it, it can cause cracking too. All I am saying is if the two pieces still fit together then you can carry on using it.
