QUESTION to Atheist. All Welcome.?

Please can you answer these, don't ignore.

1) If monkeys gave birth to a man/woman, who would he mate with?

2) So in the beginning.. There was nothing... And then it EXPLODED?

3) If the world is billions of years old... why is it only 2012?

4) Have you EVER seen a mountain form?

5) If we came from monkeys, why are there still monkeys?

6) What is the purpose of existence?

7) Why is creation a pattern? (moon orbits around earth, earth orbits around sun/other planets too)

8) What came first chicken or the egg? (all chickens are female.. rooster had to come too) ..

    1. That's not how it works. The species gradually changed over many generations.

    2. In the beginning, time did not exist and came into existence gradually. Then the chaotic tendencies of spacetime allowed for the spontaneous creation of a singularity. Shortly after this spontaneous creation, it began to expand.

    3. It is only 2012 because we measure the apparent birth of Jesus to be the beginning of the common era.

    4. I have never seen a mountain form from start to finish, but I have witnessed a small chunk of the process (which we, living for a very short time, can do at best). More simply, I have witnessed volcanic eruptions and earthquakes.

    5. Before early monkeys evolved into humans, monkeys occupied a large area of Africa. The climate change that lead to the formation of the grasslands only affected a part of Africa. It was the monkeys in the new grasslands that had to adapt to stand on 2 feet and thus begin human evolution. The monkeys still in the rain forests stayed monkeys.

    6. There are many purposes. Biologically, to reproduce. Philosophically, to contribute to society. Individualistically, to live to the fullest.

    7. The earth orbiting the sun is not a creation pattern, it is a centripetal force. However, planetary and stellar creation do involve gravity, which you have described. The reason this happens is because mass bends spacetime.

    8. The egg came before the chicken. The species that laid the egg was something that was ever so slightly different from a chicken but not so far from a chicken that mating was an impossibility.

    1) Monkeys give birth to monkeys. After their genes drift for billions of years they tend to look differently - and no longer resemble monkeys. Just as humans evolved from a common ancestor.

    2) In the beginning there has never been a moment when nothing existed, and there is no proof of that. There is plenty of evidence that matter and energy have always existed in some form or another.

    3) The world is billions of years old, human civilization isn't. You can't start counting time before you exist.

    4) Mountains are forming and leveling all around us, at millionths of an inch a day due to plate tectonics.

    5) We didn't come from monkeys, see Q.1

    6) Existence has no purpose, there is no meaning of life. You create your own meaning, it is not assigned to you.

    7) There is no creation, planets orbit each other because of a mutual attraction called gravity.

    8) Eggs have existed for a lot longer than chickens. The egg came before the Chicken. However, organisms came before eggs. The first chicken would have come from an Egg because their common ancestor was already laying eggs.

    1. O.o

    2. Is that a question, or a statement

with a question mark at the end of it?

Well, if it IS a question, I suggest you

go to YouTube and watch a lecture

by a theoretical physicist by the name

of Lawrence Krauss. The name of the

video is: A Universe From Nothing.

    3. Surely you aren't *that* stupid...

    4. Nope, but I've seen land form.

It's called Hawaii... the Big Island.

    5. We did not "come from monkeys".

We have a common ancestor. I take

it you missed a lot of school...

    6. To continue our species.

    7. I have no idea how you went from

    Creation to orbiting celestial bodies.

Perhaps you could try rewording the

question so it would make sense?

    8. The egg. (we know chickens are

female - did you have to look that up?).

  • 1) monkeys can't give birth to a human

    2) Its not that there was absolutley nothing in the beginning. The whole universe was compacted into a microscopic ball of ultra dense matter that then exploded 14 billion years ago

    3) because we use a Christian calender, which has a BCE and CE (AD) division, with zero roughly around the time Jesus was born, which was about 2012 years ago. However, the BCE end stretches back to the billions

    4) no because it takes a very long time for mountains to form

    5) only some monkeys evolved into humans, not all of them. It's not necessary for every single member of species to evolve into the next thing

    6) who the hell knows?

    7) nature likes convienent patterns, who doesn't. That and gravity.

    8) who gives a ****?

    1. Non-sequitur. No "monkey" ever gave birth to a "human."

    2. Nope. The "big bang" wasn't an explosion, and there doesn't appear to have ever been "nothing."

    3. You should learn about some other calendars.

    4. Yes, I have -- slowly, over long periods, by the uplift of tectonic plate action. A mountain I climbed in 1972 is, today, more than 16 feet higher than it was then, and each increase has been directly mapped to plate tectonics events.

    5. We didn't come from monkeys.

    6. There is no imposed "purpose."

    7. Nonsense question, and it assumes both "creation" and "pattern." If you knew Newton's laws of motion and gravity, you'd know why things orbit the way they do, no magic is required.

    8. The question demonstrates your complete ignorance of biology and evolution. Like most of the others.

    Please go get some education.

    Peace.

    1) false premise, monkeys will never give birth to men/women.

    2) No, singularities produce EXPANSIONS of the time/space dimension. Nowhere in the BBT is there description or reference to an explosion.

    3) If it is indeed 2012, why are you only (insert your age here)?

    4) facepalm.

    5) We did not come from monkeys, we merely share a common ancestor.

    6) There is no purpose of existence, just like the quantum fluctuations that gave rise to the singularities lack a purpose.

    7) It is not. Gravity and gravitational fields are concepts that will answer your examples...

    8) Both, the chicken was inside its egg when after several thousands of years it had genetically altered itself enough to be what you understad to be a chicken.

    1. illogical so deserves no answer. Research genetics and biology.

    2. There was no explosion, it was an expansion. I assume you know the difference?

    3. The Gregorian calender is incorrect in its calculation. The Hebrew calender states the date as 5 Elul 5772. But this is only the date that people started counting.

    4. I'm not that old, but I have seen the effects of erosion. Not quite sure what you are getting at.

    5. We didn't come from monkeys. We have a common ancestor that we share with primates.

    6. What you make of it. But existential nihilism is not synonymous with atheism.

    7. Pattern? Our solar system is kept 'in place' because the sun is so massive, it attracts other smaller masses to it (only basic answer) But there is no order in the universe, and it is very chaotic.

    8. Chickens 'evolved' to lay eggs...but it wasn't a chicken as you know it.. You get a better success rate in reproducing if your offspring can develop independently from the parent. Birds will leave their nest, fly away and attract predators away from their incubating eggs. They get a better chance of survival. (chickens are birds btw, all birds have the same breeding habits generally) BUT egg laying animals came before the chicken.

    1) Monkeys never gave birth to a human.

    2) If that's the way you want to phrase it, yes.

    3) Because 2012 years ago people started keeping records of how many years pass by.

    4) Have you ever seen God poof someone into existence?

    5) We didn't come from monkeys. All primates came from a common ancestor...if you can even comprehend any of that.

    6) There isn't one. I'm here because my parents had sex and kept me because they wanted a daughter. That's about it.

    7) Creation is a myth, so it's not a pattern or anything else.

    8) Chicken.

    1) That makes absolutely no sense

    2) So a magical person in the sky just wiggled his magical fingers and POOF... universe?

    3) Our calanders don't start from the beggining of time... obviously

    4) Mountains don't just sprout from the ground, basic elementary school earth science will teach you that.

    5) We didn't come from monkeys, we share a common ancestor

    6) Live free and be happy :)

    7) Again... basic elementary school science will help you out with that one

    8) Neither. Chickens are modern animals. Thousands of years of evolution eventually formed what are now chickens. keep in mind, insects and fish(both sexual and asexual) have been laying eggs long before mammals.

    1. This situation would never happen. It's not genetically possible.

    2. There had to be something at one point whether you are a theist or atheist. If you are a theist, you have to accept that God came from nothing.

    3. Because that's when we started recording years.

    4. No, my lifetime isn't that long.

    5. Because we share a common ancestor. Plus, many Americans came from Europeans, why are there still Europeans?

    6. Hell if I know.

    7. Gravity.

    8. I don't know.
