Toshiba laptop question. Something happened after cleaning the screen and keyboard.?

I restarted our Toshiba laptop computer (2010) this morning and while it was rebooting I quickly wiped it down with the special cleaner and cloth to clean smudges and fingerprints off. I entered the password to log on and from that point on it seems to be malfunctioning. I don't know much about computer repair. Could something bad have happened when I cleaned it while it was restarting? My husband is trying to start it in safe mode. Are our digital photos in danger at all?

You acknowledged that your charger works at a designated function and while you moved it to yet another role it doesn't work any further. The problem is in one of the most cables running into the rectangular field you see (enter). It appears one of the crucial cables have worn out because of twisting and overstretching and the insulators have uncovered the copper wires within. I recommend that you don't fold within the cables to tightly; just let it unfold. For now, to find the perfect function in order that the charger will work and try add some sticky tape to keep in position. Otherwise, you might purchase a new a charger. Concerning the keys to your desktop, if you know how to disassemble the keyboard then that you can do away with any foreign objects jammed in the keys. Whenever you eliminated the keys and uncovered the actual board, tilt the laptop abit and tab at the backside of the laptop (no too tough) to dislodge whatever out. Get a brush (a paint brush will easy out some thing in small places) to get rid of any dust.

If you did follow the directions it should be fine. If you sprayed it dircectly on the laptop i could possible damage the procceser or and eletrical parts probally not if you take the parts to a professinal they can take the files from the corrupted device as the FBI can do with water damaged fire burned and broken computers.
