  • Anyone have some fun ideas for the "last day" of our homeschool writing club?

We are Christian home educators who started a writing club for our kids (12 kids altogether, ages 8 to 17). Our last club meeting for the year is coming up and we'd like to make it kind of special. Not extravagant, just something simple and nice. Thanks in advance for your wholesome, fun ideas!

  • Toshiba laptop question. Something happened after cleaning the screen and keyboard.?

I restarted our Toshiba laptop computer (2010) this morning and while it was rebooting I quickly wiped it down with the special cleaner and cloth to clean smudges and fingerprints off. I entered the password to log on and from that point on it seems to be malfunctioning. I don't know much about computer repair. Could something bad have happened when I cleaned it while it was restarting? My husband is trying to start it in safe mode. Are our digital photos in danger at all?

  • How do you replace a front passenger seatbelt?

Attention all automotive mechanics ~ would you please make a video tutorial on how to replace a front passenger seatbelt in a Chevy 2005 Uplander?

The estimate at my local dealership just quoted me $335 to replace the thing, which is waaaay over my budget. Couldn't this be done at home? I would really like to know how to do this myself. Thanks! :)

    Thanks!

  • Can you print a design on contact paper using a laser printer?

I want to make a design on clear adhesive and I have some clear contact paper. I could cut it to the size of the paper the printer accepts (8.5x11) but I'm not sure if it would work. Anyone know?

  • How can I visit a website without that website tracking my info that I was there?

I think that IE "InPrivate" browsing works for blocking your own computer from tracking you, but how do you block other computers? Can you be "invisible"?

  • What does it mean when a cat's eye tears?

Our cat (2.5 yrs) has one eye that tears just a bit every once in a while. It's always the same eye and without any apparent reason like something he's bumped into or anything.

  • What's the name of that Swing/Jazz song?

I've tried every search I know and cannot find the name to a great tune that is briefly played in an I Love Lucy episode. TO BE CLEAR - I am NOT talking about the Glow Worm song that Lucy keeps trying to play. I'm talking about a song in the second scene that Ricky's orchestra plays. It's a really cool swing/jazz/big band tune. I just LOVE it and want to get it on my ipod. What's it called and who's it by??

  • Golfers elbow!?

Our family went to a free golf clinic where we recieved instruction that had no better advice than "hit the ball"(!) and so we practiced our swings with enthusiasm. That was in September 2006. Now it's December and my right elbow is STILL hurting, stiff at times, weak (won't perform the lifting operations it used to) and I'm getting a little concerned. I've heard of tennis elbow, but it seems that I've got golfers elbow. Does anyone know anything about it and what I can do to help it? I love natural remedies and dislike seeing doctors, but any advice is welcome!
