Interestingly, I had this conversation with my Aussie penpal a few days ago. Here are American edibles that she has assured me she's never heard of:
Cracker Jacks
Ginger drink
Cadbury flake bars
Clotted cream fudge
REAL maple syrup
Maple sugar candy
Yorkshire tea
Tabasco Sauce
Dinosaur BBQ sauce
Kool-Aid
Twinkies
Tasty-Kake (a New England thing)

Rocha
Fruit slice candy
She told me that the array of edible things we have in the U.S. is astonishing. Unfortunately the best thing she'd had to eat in this country I was unable to ship her: Edy's ice cream. Sorry, I don't have the other half of the transcript.
