I have an Ipad3 Question?

Ok. I received an Ipad earlier today. I ordered an Ipad3 with 32G memory. The box it came in simply said "Ipad" on it so I don't know what is in it. Also, there was no documentation at all. I went to the Apple site and downloaded 150 pages of instructions. The instructions said that after I turn it on I should get a "Setup Assistant" All I get is a big "IPAD" on the screen for several seconds then it goes off.. The battery meter in the upper right shows 100%.

Am I missing something or is this thing a Pig?

Thanks.

Your iPad 32 GB will simply only say iPad on the box. Don't worry it actually is a 32 GB iPad. You have to go to iTunes, download it on your computer (it's free), and create an account. You will need to provide information like your email address, credit card numbers and information (this is just required), address, and possibly your phone number(s). Don't worry this is just used to set up your Apple ID which is required and needed. None of that information will be shared. Your Apple ID is needed if you own any Apple product, which you do, and it allows you to access iTunes and the App Store. Apple's iTunes and the App Store is where you can purchase music, games, movies, tv shows, music videos, games, and many different apps like calculators, photo editing apps, dictionaries, and word processing apps etc. There are lots of free apps here too which don't cost a penny! Apple is absolutely incredible! In the box where your iPad 32 GB came in, there will be some accessories like your plug, sometimes Apple earphones, and of course, the instructions. Using the plug, plug it into the wall and into the computer and your iPad aswell. Your iPad will need to charge up! You can still use your iPad when it is charging, but there must be at least 5% of battery for you to use it. ....So plug it in, go do laundary or whatever, then come back 5-10 minutes later and you can use it....plugged in.

    I hope I helped! Good luck! :')
