i have had diebetes 24 years my doctor said i not got it any more can this be true?

    Yes, it is possible. While it's true it's less likely to happen after 24 years, but a change in lifestyle can completely get rid of diabetes. For example, a person who loses a large amount of weight (think a 350lb guy losing 50+ lbs) has a good chance to also "lose" diabetes. Other factors, like a change in diet or exercise, can also help.

    Be warned, though, it can always come back.

    Possibly. I was diagnosed with 'pre-diabetes' about 3 years ago (when I was 22). It was very strange as I was 125 lbs.! Anyway, I stuck to a very strict diet for about a year, lost a bit of weight and apparently brought my blood sugar all the way down. The doctor said I no longer was in any danger and could resume a normal diet if I wanted. :)

    Did you receive any special treatment? If not , get rid of the diabetes' possibility is very low

    If you were type 2 and you lost weight and exercised, it's possible you don't have it anymore.
