To my mind, everyone has the right to create beautiful things and, whilst artists and photographers will continue to create masterpieces to be admired by the masses, the admiring masses can have a bash at creating their own little pieces of art to be admired by themselves and their friends. We all love nostalgia and the simple things in life, yes Instagram’s sepia tones may give the illusion of instant nostalgia, but when we look back in a decades time to our early Instagramming days, we won’t just have dull photos to look back and reminisce over, we’ll have truly beautiful images we took way back when – I think that’s something special.
