Can Non-Christians be saved and go to heaven or must one believe in Jesus fully to be spared hell?

I am Christian and have excepted Jesus but I am wondering what the common religious community believes about those who don't accept Jesus, where do they go at the end of life?

Jhn 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

Act 4:12 Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.

Jhn 3:36 He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.

Jhn 3:18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

Jesus is the ONLY Way to heaven. Anyone who does not repent and who rejects Jesus will NOT have eternal life but eternal death. Only those who have the Son (Jesus) have life (I John 5:12).

Those who reject Jesus will not be tortured forever in Hell, but rather will be completely destroyed by fire and will no longer exist for all eternity.

    Truth about Hell

The Bible teaches the TOTAL DESTRUCTION of the lost. This includes body and soul. (Matthew 7:13, Phillipians 3:18, 2 Thessalonians 1:8-9, Matthew 10:28, Psalm 5:6, Psalm 9:3,5, Psalm 21:9-10, Psalm 28:4-5, Psalm 37:20,38, Psalm 92:7, Psalm 145:20, Proverbs 10:29-30, Isaiah 1:28, Isaiah 26:14, Luke 17:26-30, 2 Thessalonians 1:8-9, Luke 17:28-30, Joel 1:15,)

The wages of sin is DEATH (Romans 6:23, Genesis 2:16-17, Ezekial 18:4, Isaiah 26:14, James 1:15, Ezekial 33:11)

The wicked will be DEVOURED, BURNED UP, and CONSUMED (Psalm 37:20,38, Psalm 104:35, Isaiah 1:28, Psalm 21:8-10, Psalm 50:3, Ezekial 22:31, Revelation 20:9, Isaiah 1:28, Psalm 104:35)

    Those who reject Jesus will PERISH (John 3:16, Psalm 9:3,5, Psalm 10:16, Psalm 37:20,38, Psalm 97:3, Psalm 68:2, Luke 13:5, II Peter 3:9, Psalm 68:1-2, Psalm 37:20, Isaiah 41:11, I Corinthians 1:8)

The lost will be SLAIN CARCASES (Psalm 139:19, Isaiah 11:4, Isaiah 66:15-16, 24)

The wicked will be NO MORE, COMPLETELY FORGOTTEN, THEY WILL BE AS IF THEY NEVER EXISTED. This cannot be true if they will be tortured forever in Hell because they would still exist and would not be forgotten. (Obadiah 1:15-16, Psalm 9:3,5, Psalm 37:10, 20, 38. Psalm 104:35, Isaiah 26:14, Psalm 140:10, Isaiah 41:11-12, Psalm 37:9-10, Proverbs 2:22, Proverbs 10:25)

The fire shall not be quenched does not mean the fire will never go out but rather that it will keep burning until it is finished consuming its fuel. Carefully read these. (Jeremiah 17:27, Jude 7). Are either of these burning right now and will continue to burn for eternity or did the fire totally consume them and leave them as ashes?

The unrepentant will be ASHES. (Malachi 4:1-3)

The Bible is clear that those who have the Son have life. Those who do not have the Son do not have life. What is the opposite of life? DEATH. Not eternal torture. (I John 5:12)

Jesus describes it as eternal punishMENT not eternal punishING (Matthew 25:46)

The soul is not immortal. It can die (Ezekial 18:4, Matthew 10:28).

  • "Christian" is a word invented by man... it is not a title that has any Authority from God.... however "Christian" is the title given by man to all those who have received God's Free, and eternal, gift of Salvation...... it has been corrupted by misuse and is Greatly misunderstood by many.....

With The final Sacrifice and the commissioning of The True Church by God.... The Way was given for ALL who will come to God in The Way He prescribes.......

The debate over the fate of those who do not know Jesus will not be resolved on YA.... or by any one in this mortal existence...... Salvation involves more than just "accepting Jesus".....

I personally believe that those who have been kept from hearing The Salvation Message can still come to God...... and that position is also greatly debated.....

the souls of those who end their mortal existence leave the body and enter a sleep like state.... waiting to be called up by Christ..... those who have received God's Salvation will rise at the Rapture of The True Church, and be taken to Heaven by Christ....... the others will be called up 1,007 years latter to face Judgement and their ultimate fate.... that fate is also of great debate.....

I do not think in "Biblical inerrancy" and but many non-Christians label me as a "fundie" and "evangelical. I take a as an alternative educational/scholarly process to the Bible. However, despite the fact that I had been to take a fully literal view of the whole Bible (adding the e-book of Revelation) I nonetheless could not justify the notion in an everlasting torture chamber. The wages of sin is loss of life. The lake of fireplace is the "moment loss of life" in which Death and Hades are destroyed endlessly. That's why an "everlasting hell" does not make experience. The soul has in no way been assured everlasting lifestyles. That's why Jesus got here...to present us everlasting lifestyles (John three:sixteen). Even everlasting torment in hell continues to be everlasting lifestyles.

What really is a christian but a title given to certain believers in a faith, do you think that truly defines your purpose or thoughts on earth. Under the belief that only a christian can be spared from untold torture is rather a dark thought. A person who does only good and shows only kindness and acceptance, gives to all and remains undoubtable selfless but does not believe in the christian god deserves to be punished with psychos and murderers, sinners at their worst. What about a newborn baby, babies are not christian, they can't be, they are to young to even know what christianity is never the less the concept of god. Does that mean all unknowing children who meet unfortunate and early ends are destined to be hell-bound. Many in the common religious community believe that non christians go to hell but maybe its just the atheist in me but i don't believe that could be right, i don't believe animals and yound children, and undoubtable generous people with different views could be punished so cruely, not the way your god is described. A person to believe in such cruelty and menivolence, or even a god who stands for such acts deserves to go to hell. I am not telling you to abandon your religion, by all means believe what you want, just don't be one of those people who hates all who are not and damns us all with such hatred. No person is perfect, no person is equal. We are capable of thinking for ourselves so i am suggesting that you ignore the common belief and believe that in which you think is right.

I am Christian too, and believe that you must be with Jesus in order to be spared from hell. Although other religions have supposed ways to heaven, they are not true religions, argo what they say is the way is not true.

All of us, when we die, go to hell, it is simply the grave. Consider it cold storage til resurrection. About the judgment, i think God knows who's worthy and who's not. Might be a lot of people christianity or any other group, considers unworthy, might be considered worthy by God in spite of how the different faiths feel about it.

    Hell is the grave

Every person who ever lived is now in hell. Hell is the grave.

Hell - Hebrew word - Sheol, literally pit for the dead, grave. The dead are conscious of nothing. Hell is the grave, none born miss it.

Hell is not a place of eternal fiery torment. The church stole that concept from the Greek myths (see Hades, River Styx) to control their people in life and in death. Dante's Inferno and Milton's Paradise Lost served to fuel the church's fire.

From as many times a day as I type this, I say it has not only worked well for them in the past, but keeps working for them now and will continue to do so in the future until people begin to challenge them and search for the true definition of hell as being the grave.

    Tehillim - Psalms - Chapter 139

    8. If I ascend to the heavens, there You are, and if I make my bed in the grave, behold, You are there.

    KJV - Psalms 139:

8 If I ascend up into heaven, thou art there: if I make my bed in hell, behold, thou art there .

Fear G*D and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man. Ecclesiates 12:13

G*D, Noachidism and Judaism teach if you keep these 7 laws you will have an equal share in the world to come.

    * To behave justly in all relationships, and to establish courts of justice.

    * To refrain from blaspheming G*d's name.

    * To refrain from practicing idolatry.

    * To avoid immoral practices, specifically incest and adultery.

    * To avoid shedding the blood of ones fellow man.

    * To refrain from robbing ones fellow man.

    * To refrain from eating a limb torn from a live animal.
