Yahoo Answers Dream Team AFL grand final week?

My team made the MINOR Grand Final after coming 12th in the season proper. A bit of luck there too, my opponent named two wrong emergencies and failed to cover his 3 donuts.

Looking forward to next year now I have the basic idea of how it works and won't waste all my trades undoing crap early decisions!

This is by far my best season to date in DT. Lost only 2 games prior to the finals (1 of them being in the bye rounds)

Scored most points overall in the Y!A league, but finished equal top. A very dissappointing finals series, as I was knocked out in straight sets. Had 2 trades left coming into the finals, I didn't even get to use both trades as I was saving it for the Prelim and GF.

Out of 5 leagues, I'm still in 2. I managed to make the GF in 2 leagues, and failed in 2 leagues in straight sets and lost in 1 other in the prelim.

All season, I was ranked inside the top 10,000, but slipped to just under 23,000 during the finals.

I bombed out at a rate of knots.

After finishing a reasonable third, I moved straight through to the prelim, confident I could get through to the GF ...

I came up against A-MAN, who I knew was going to be a challenge, and that he was.

I copped THREE donuts, two thru late withdrawals and one through oversight (Jelwood!)

Because of this I went down to A-MAN, who proceeded through to the GF and faces ... you!

Disappointing end to the season, I got knocked out of all 4 prelims I was in.

However, this is sweetened by the fact that maybe I miss out on a DreamTeam Grand Final this weekend, but I get to play in a Grand Final in our regional league on Sunday! Hopefully we can get up :)

Snuck into the finals after an upset over RF, but the lack of a full team for about the last 6 weeks killed me. :(
