My computer randomly freezes?

I have just upgraded my computer (The CPU and Mobo)

And for some reason it randomly freezes, like few times a day, not when its under strain, not when i am gaming or have much running.

It totally freezes and it needs a reboot. Its a new copy of windows 7 ultimate on a formatted harddrive, its got the latest drivers ect.

Could my Ram/Hdd be dying?

I dont have any virus's or anything.

Please help

Have you tried reseating your RAM? "Freezing" is such a broad term that it could be a whole mess of different issues, but if it freezes when it's not under load, it could be a memory issue. I would try that (and even try different sticks, if you have some laying around or a friend who's feeling generous). Otherwise, download Core Temp or some other similar temperature monitoring to see if your unit might be overheating. If you just upgraded the CPU, you might be having heat issues.
