If I mark a message as unread on facebook after reading it will the other person know I read it?

Yes. As soon as you've seen the message Facebook will tell the other user. You could try going onto the full list of messages and just reading the preview message off there, provided it's not too long. Or, as I do, just pie them. Hope this helps.

Don t Click on the Message box or the Message Notification in the top right hand corner of your Home Page....What you do is click off of Facebook and wait 20 -30 minutes and Facebook will send you an email

notification to your computer s email address (this only happens if you have your FB notifications set to send you an email whenever you get a message.) Then you will get the entire email to read without the person knowing you have read it.

I do this all the time with guys I date so they don t think I am anxious about getting their email even though I am checking every 5 minutes to see if they wrote me....

This way you can take your time in responding to them. they just think you have been busy.

What I want to know is how to mark a message as unread once it is read. My friend has a fan page on FB and I can see when he reads it but then minutes later it is marked unread.... I don t know how he does that.... Anyone know?...

no it doesn't when you click the message box it automatically says you've seen it so not it is not marked as unread

no ive tested the read thing. as soon as the person clicks the flashing fb chat box it says to that person you read it.

in case you click unread then he/she would be able to think of which you havenot examine it. yet while previously while he/she had sent you msg and you examine it then he/she would be able to renowned which you have examine it yet have marked unread .
