I have a vibration when I'm on the Interstate?

I know the tires being out of balance can cause a vibration. Would a broken belt or something in a tire cause this? Is there anything else? I'm asking because I'm about to go back to Sears and I might not be very nice. I bought the tires at Sears a few months ago and I took it in Saturday to have them rotated. I had been hearing a noise that sounded like a tire noise to me. I really expected them to tell me they found something in one of the tires but they didn't. I didn't notice this vibration before they rotated the tires so I think they didn't balance them or didn't balance them correctly. I will probably take it back today and ask them to rebalance the tires and check for a broken belt or foreign object in one of the tires. I just wanted opinions on whether it could be anything else before I go and demand they redo what they were supposed to have done on Sat.

Update:

Maybe I shouldn't have put the part about not being nice. I am almost always nice, I just don't like not getting the service I expect. Another thing, Sears told us we needed new brakes but when we had it inspected 2 days later at a different garage (and even mentioned that we needed brakes) that mechanic said the brakes were fine. I guess I'm just a little put out with Sears right now.

yes a loose belt in 1 of the tires can cause it to vibrate ! also a worn wheel bearing can too ! it,s possibly could be a bad tire but it,s not their fault ! they get the tires in and they can,t tell just by looking at them if they are bad or not ! it might just be that they did not balance them right !

Start with re-balancing them. If that doesn't work, then look deeper for a broken belt in the tire-not as obvious to the naked eye. When you take it back, tell them your concerns. Be nice though-you catch more flies with honey. I find when I am nice, I get much better service than when I ***** out (although sometimes, you have to) and in this case, nice will get you what you want.
