What will happen if everyone is mixed race? Will they find an alternative cure, or is this something uncurable?

I read the first half of this article (you don't have to read it though): http://www.theprovince.com/life/Mixed+race+Fastest...

and it's saying that, children of mixed race, are demographic group that is disadvantaged, in terms of medical blood work.

Simply put, as interracial marriages increase, the supply of mixed-race blood, which must be gathered from adult donors, is lagging far behind the demand from a growing pool of mixed-race children. Every ethnicity has inherited genetic markers, so finding a blood cell match among your own ethnicity provides the best chance.

Canadian Blood Services spokeswoman Olga Pazukha explains, "the complexity is those patients that require stem-cell transplants need a donor to match them, and it is like a fingerprint. It complicates things when you have a mix, like for example Chinese and Caucasian."

Will they find other cures?

They need to because mixed race people are on the rise.

I'm not against people of mixed race, I think it doesn't matter who your parents are etc... However, I am slightly considering changing my opinion now I have seen this. :/

Enlighten me!

Update:

It's also because my boyfriend is Filipino, I am Caucasian, and I was thinking if we ever had kids, I wouldn't want them to face any medical problems that can't be helped. :/

I didn't read past what I was talking about, so sorry if the article offended anyone.

Update 2:

For children needing bone marrow donations, the girl in the article had acute myeloid leukemia, an aggressive cancer of the blood and bone marrow.

It's hard to find a bone marrow donor no matter who you are. They usually should be close family regardless of race. Besides, pretty much everyone is mixed race today and share alleles with the exception of secluded populations. I come from like 5 different races as does my girlfriend and we've never had any problem with medical care. We've both given and received red blood cells and plasma with nary an issue.

The already have other cures, the problem is that blood is so cheap that hospitals prefer using it. The alternative treatments are generally much safer and healthier though. Some alternatives are using iron or other medications to boost blood levels before surgeries, performing surgeries with lasers or cauterizing tools rather than scalpels to minimize blood loss, making smaller incisions, etc. There's lots more but that's all I can think of right now.

Try doing a google search of 'blood-less medicine', you'll probably find more on the advances they're making. Entire hospitals in some areas now work without using blood

    Ohhh. So it's complicated....

We put a man on the moon with the equivalent of a desk calculator so I'm pretty sure that computers can handle such a data base, and that people shouldn't consider such things before falling in love....

People can donate their own stem cells for medical procedures.

    That's a plainly racist article.
