Where do you think "god" will live next?

First the gods were on the mountain tops (ex: Mount Olympus) or in the sea. Then, when we explored there and found nothing, they moved into the clouds.

After we explored our atmosphere, they moved from the clouds out into space.

Now that we're exploring space, they've moved "outside time and space" (whatever that means).

Do you think they'll move again or is this the final resting place?

Update:

@Mr. Burns: Primitive Greek beliefs? The Greek's religious beliefs were 10 times more elegant than most modern day religions and are still some of my favorite stories to read up on. That being said, all modern religions are primitive in their beliefs. Just reading any of the many holy books is enough to prove that.

the bible says that Jesus will return to jerusalem and touch down on mount sion.

the bible also says that new jerusalem will come down from heaven, so i would conclude jesus would be in the area of Jerusalem for the millenium.

however, lds scriptures say there will also be another city in america. im sure Jesus could travel back and forth, but live primarily in new jerusalem.

To Christians ,there is only 1 God and He lives in heaven but yet He's able to live inside the human heart(spirit, when invited) at the same time.He created us to be His own.He loves us so that's why He cares about us (our future and present life).Man has tried to explain God and the thing s of nature, mixing up the 2 in the process believing that nature was god, nature being so powerful and violent at times seemed to men that it was amd at them when they did this and happy with them when they did that.God isn't nature but created it,He can control it as given by ex that are in the bible(Jesus calming the storm and things of that nature) He is also able to calm the violent storm that sometimes reside and take over our lives, saying to each situation :Peace be still. He compares himself to an shepherd ( the Chief Shepherd) so He doesn't always delivers us immediately from what is troubling us but helps us to walk through them as times (as an shepherd does with their sheep) leading them to good water sources and green pastures for food.

He knows what lies ahead so He decides/tries to lead us through and to.We sometime ,like sheep, wonder off the right path and get into trouble that causes us and possibly others harm.God will always take us back once we repent of what we've done and ask him to forgive and continue to lead us to the place that was promised by him.God is love and kind so He wants to give us good things ,as any father does his child,we sometime (well let's just tell the truth) most of the time get into trouble by doing our own thing trying to carve out paths ,on our own, that only lead to heartache and problems.God doesn't give up so easily on nor throws us away but gives us chance aftr chance after chance (you know how i know this,LOL).But to try to reiterate some of what I've said before He lives in heaven but also will live inside our hearts when asked by us to do so.In the beginning of our creation that is how it was before Adam and Eve sinned(who knows how long they lived and worked in the garden) and that's how it be for all those who ask Him to do so in the end (well that is for eternity).

After the religious folk exhaust all possible areas... they'll just end up saying God is in the heart or something stupid like that.

When did they move into the clouds and space? What is your source for that? (just curious)

If I stole your laptop and gave it to a friend of mine, even though it was in the possession of my friend (who didn't steal it), whose laptop is it? Certainly you would agree that it was really still yours.

Now take something more durable like a diamond ring or a watch, and say I steal it from you and I give it to my son and then I die, and some more years go by and he gives it to his son. Who does it belong to? You probably would agree that it is rightfully still yours.

Sometimes we have a statue of limitations that prevents the law from prosecuting such but it doesn't answer the question of to whom the item belongs to. It only says enforcement cannot be pursued.

You probably wonder where I am going with all this.

Can you think of any government on the planet today that did NOT come into existence as result of a rebellion or war against the previous government? Does that give them rightful ownership? If you say yes then you agree that might = right. (So now who is the rightful owner of the laptop?) The cycle of rebellion of government over government can be traced back to the Garden of Eden when Adam and Eve rebelled against God's government (with its ONE law) and set up their own government, a two person democracy.

So how does this connect to your question?

Notice what the Apostle Paul said when he was visiting Athens: “Men of Athens, I behold that in all things you seem to be more given to the fear of the deities than others are. For instance, while passing along and carefully observing your objects of devotion I also found an altar on which had been inscribed ‘To an Unknown God’. Therefore what you are unknowingly giving godly devotion to, this I am publishing to you. The God that made the world and all the things in it, being, as this One is, Lord of heaven and earth, does not dwell in handmade temples, neither is he attended to by human hands as if he needed anything, because he himself gives to all persons life and breath and all things. And he made out of one man every nation of men, to dwell upon the entire surface of the earth, and he decreed the appointed seasons and the set limits of the dwelling of men, for them to seek God, if they might grope for him and really find him, although, in fact, he is not far off from each one of us. For by him we have life and move and exist, even as certain ones of the poets among you have said, ‘For we are also his progeny.’ Seeing, therefore, that we are the progeny of God, we ought not to imagine that the Divine Being is like gold or silver or stone, like something sculptured by the art and contrivance of man. True, God has overlooked the times of such ignorance, yet now he is telling mankind that they should all everywhere repent. Because he has set a day in which he purposes to judge the inhabited earth in righteousness by a man whom he has appointed, and he has furnished a guarantee to all men in that he has resurrected him from the dead.”

Rather than being concerned about where God is living many people are more interested in what he is about to do.

There is a Bible prophecy that is being fulfilled today: (Matthew 24:14) And this good news of the kingdom will be preached in all the inhabited earth for a witness to all the nations; and then the end will come.

Jehovah's Witnesses spent over 1.7 billion hours in over 235 countries last year telling everyone about ONE government that is going to return to take control of all the affairs of this planet. You can view the report here, see page 44: http://www.mediafire.com/?sks4ns6anharzhc

This government is going to bring untold blessings to those who want it. It will also eliminate those who like Adam and Eve insist on their own government. You can read more about this government here:

At this point in time space to humans is infinite so I suspect that god will move there for some die hard believers.
