Texas Life Insurance Certification confirmation?

Many years ago, I passed the test to be a certified life insurance agent in Texas, and worked selling life insurance for a little while. Sales is definitely not for me, but it would be useful if I could get a copy of the certification or whatever it was called. I don't have mine any more, and have no idea where to begin with this. Can you help?

Thanks very much!

Update:

I know my license expired long ago. I don't want to renew and I don't want to sell insurance. It's just that most of my experience is in the field of education, and there flat out are no school library jobs in this area, NONE. So I will have to be changing fields. I thought it might be useful to show potential employers that I can do other things!

Update 2:

Casey, I'm not going to defraud anyone, and frankly it never occurred to me at the age of 23 that I might need this again!

How long ago did you renew your license? If it's been over a certain amount of years, then your license is already expired. Check by going to your state department of insurance.

Your license is expired and nobody is going to send you an outdated certification. If someone asked me for an outdated certification, I would assume that they intend to do something fraudulent with it.

    Keep better records next time.
