Obama's Teleprompter?
Did anyone watch them installing the teleprompter for Romney's acceptance speech tonight at the convention center on TV? They showed them installing it this morning on the today show. It might be a new record. That sucker is almost as big as a scoreboard at a stadium. Just wondering what those of you who criticize Obama for his use of a teleprompter have to say about it.
I know everyone uses one. I'm directing the question at the morons who criticize Obama for doing it.

Like you said, some people are morons, the morons will critisize everything Obama does, even when its not his doing they'll blame him for it.

Yes, but it's just a regular teleprompter. Not MIL-SPEC like Obama's needs to be because of the extremely heavy use it gets.
Seriously though, the reason we give Obama grief is because we were all told what a gifted Orator Obama is. That we haven't seen a speaker like him since....hell I don't when. Yet we find out that Obama is incredibly dependent on the teleprompter. That without it, he's just a stumbling bumbling speaker like so many others.
In fact, Obama is so slavishly dependent on the teleprompter, that he even uses it as such minor functions as speaking to a 6th grade class at an elementary school. See the link.

With the exception of Condeleeza Rice, EVERY single person giving a speech at the convention used a teleprompter.
I guess they want to make sure that Romney doesn't misread or go off script.
