Art appreciation class!!! Need college BOOK HELP!!?

My art teacher told us to buy a certain book, we had bought the "A world of Art 6th edition - A la Carte" but the teacher told us to get the one that was "face-to-face" and the "red one not the blue one" what the hell does that mean? Any idea which book she was referring to? I cant seem to get anything on google, please help.

I'd guess it was the 7th edition but she said she had used it before in another class and that book just came out so that doesn't make sense

Update:

But I already did, theres nothing besides the 7th edition and its not that one

Amazon lists at least 3 versions of the 6th edition of "A World of Art."

One is a traditional book and 2 are "a la carte" editions, meaning they're loose leaf versions so you can just carry the pages you need around with you, not the whole book.

Of the 2 "a la carte" editions, one comes with a MyArtsLab code, meaning that there is an internet service provided with purchase of a new copy and the other doesn't. A lot of people use "face to face" to mean "not online."

Moreover, there's no picture of the "a la carte" edition with a MyArtsLab code, but the other version has the "a la carte" information highlighted in blue on the cover.

Are you sure she said "red not blue" and not "not red, but blue"? My guess is that you want this version: http://www.amazon.com/World-Art-Books-Carte-Editio... But this one may be the red one: http://www.amazon.com/World-Books-Carte-MyArtsLab-...

If you want to buy it from a different online seller than Amazon, cut and paste the ISBN from the Amazon page into the search function for the other seller.

In the future, you can use the Textbooks section of your college's bookstore to find the exact information about the books that have been ordered, including the ISBN. The ISBN is a unique number for each book. Different versions (like the 3 I discussed above) have different ISBN's. So once you have that information, it will be easy for you to order the correct version, either from the campus bookstore or from someone else.

    Have a great semester.

the red one not the blue one describes the color of the cover. Check for different versions of the 6th edition.
