The Church of Christ is a born again christian church and I am not sure about the assembly of God church, maybe they are born again christians as well. but they seem to be associated with the Pentecostal form of protestantism.

Assemblies of God are part of the Pentecostal Movement and believe in speaking in tongues, etc. They are faith only in their belief in salvation. The Church of Christ members would believe that the Spirit manifests Himself in the changed lives of the believers rather in miraculous signs. The Church of Christ also teachings that baptism is necessary for salvation (although we are still saved by God's grace through the death and resurrection of Christ), which is consistent with the New Testament (Mark 16:16, Acts 2:38, Acts 22:16, etc) and most of church history. Another minor difference would be the Church of Christ that they don't use musical instruments and observe the Lord's Supper on a weekly basis. I think the Assemblies are Pre-millentialists and I know most Churches of Christ are Amillenialists. Other than that, I think there a lot agreement on most other issues.
