But ive looked at this before and i think remeber something about if Im going to major enginnerring I couldnt get my credits at a community college or that it might cause me to take even longer in college, idk for sure something like that. Plan on applying to the two schools that you are interested in and maybe a few others. It is possible that you will be offered a good financial aid package in which it would not make sense to go to community college first.

Engineering is unlike most other degrees in that you have to start Engineering in the first year, not leave it until after you've completed 'General Ed".

It is difficult to get into Engineering as a transfer unless you complete an officially articulated program in Community College.

Very few students can successfully transition from a dopey Community College atmosphere to a high pressure Engineering College atmosphere.

You are probably better off going for Aerospace/Aeronautical Engineering Technology rather than Aerospace Engineering.

In theory you can take your GE classes at a community college and even some of the pre-req core classes. For you that would be like physics, calc, and chemistry.

In PRACTICE not everything at a community college will transfer to a university. Some universities are very strict on what is considered "equivalent" and may make you retake courses you've already taken. So ya, it could cause you to take a bit longer in college if some classes don't transfer.

I think you should observe immediately to vet tech applications. Vet tech is a vocational measure - it is incredibly career associated. And most colleges that offer such packages will present any of the elemental courses you might need to get your academics up to pace. However do verify to look if the group faculties close you offer vet tech! It can be less expensive there than at a career school. And speak to a few vet techs and vets who are working the place you live. Gain knowledge of all in regards to the career. And go now, and volunteer at an animal safe haven, to get that style of experience in your resume for making use of to the vet tech program. Again, practice immediately to the vet tech packages. I bet you'll be able to get into at least one among them, just as you might be correct now.

Taking your General Education requirements at community college is a great way to save on the overall cost of college. Introductory classes are generally taught straight out the textbook no matter what college you attend. Some community college students say they feel they are missing out of the true "College Experience," but this is offset by the knowledge that you will graduate with far less student loan debt.

You can take college classes while in high school, I took two at my high school but some kids who were seniors graduated early and finished the school year at the community college.
