Have you ever considered that the rise of teen pregnancies isn't because we expect too much from our youth, but that we expect too little? And because we expect too little, we make futile attempts to curb the consequences when they screw up. After all, the consequences of not living by the rules is too much for them.

But how much sense does that really make? You're not expected to either live by the rules or expected to live the consequences of not living the rules. Where does that leave our youth?

You know how I know this is true? Because teen pregnancies have gone down because of the recession. Before, you got pregnant and the daddy didn't want to stick around, you could at least count on ma and pa to help you out. Ma and pa have money. Now, ma and pa don't have money. Teens are smart. They figured that logic out, "Hey if I get pregnant, who's going to take care of me with no money?" So, why aren't you treating them like they're smart?

When a sperm cell penetrates an egg cell we have a zygote. We believe this is life according to the word of God. When a man and a woman have intercourse they should realize the tremendous awesome responsibility of this sacred act because this is the sexual act that can bring a child into this world. And that child will go through the course of his life and hopefully somehow the parents will get married so the child has a mother and father. Or in the case of young teenagers they will allow the baby to be adopted. In Neil Young's song "Keep on Rockin in the Free World" He talks of a girl, "I see a woman in the night with a baby in her hand. Under a old street light near a garbage can. She puts the kid away and has gone to get a hit.She hates her life and what she's done to it. There's one more kid that will never go to school Never get to fall in love never get to be cool. "Keep on rocking in the free world". That end phrase is the irony about the US and abortion because so many people don't realize the sanctity of life and the awesome responsibility of sex. Conservatives believe in personal responsibility. One example of taking responsibility for your actions would be: if you get pregnant (or if you're a male and get someone pregnant), you have created a life. . .and it's YOUR moral responsibility to care for the child, not kill it simply because it's "not realistic for a black teen to NOT get pregnant in the first place" - those were YOUR words, not mine. It's not the government's responsibility to care for your child, it's not your neighbor's responsibility or anybody else's responsibility - it's YOURS. What the heck is so complicated or WRONG about that? If you truly feel that your government should take care of your every responsibility in life, maybe you would be more comfortable living in a communist or socialist society.

And one more thought: conservative people and anti-abortionists contribute more money to people in need than liberals - that's a fact. And just one more thing: I challenge you to research racial targeting and population control - Planned Parenthood (Pro-Aibortionists) is not a friend to African-Americans - you've been had, my friend.

The child does not innately became a "welfare-queen" How do you know you are not killing the next Albert Einstein, or the person who might find a cure for AIDs. A person is too valuable to waste.

If a teenager gets pregnant the parent of the teen should be responsible for the offspring.

Do we not all have the right to live? And it's the same as a human. You treat it as if they are lower than a human at their stage. People are so frusterating how they can't see right from wrong.

Because they oppose the killing of innocent babies. You apparently don't. BTW, there are tens of 1000s of childless couples eager to adopt babies. No need to kill the babies.

They need to appeal to Christian Fundamentalists who see it as a sin.
