2003 S-10 Brakes cannot bleed front?
Ok my S-10 friends I do VOTE. I bought a wrecked S-10 and rebuilt. In the process I put a new frame under it so I had to move all and everything to the new frame including brake system and I had to do it in sections because of rear end then major lines then right and left front suspension inc brakes and lines not to mention cab with master cyl attached to it so yes my sysytem worked when I started but when I was done some 2 years later (yes it was a project I was careful about everything down to a clip is why) I can blead back brakes but not front It's that simple I hope. Can you tell me what next I am stumped. symptoms are ABS and brake light are on and no peddle and I expect that if I don't have front brakes. EB works great again 2003 S-10 ext cab LS with 2.2.Auto 36,000 actual miles
OK traced this to no fluid going thru the front side of ABS unit on fender and yes I took front line off there and brake fluid drained and now I can't figure out how to bleed that part. Again rear is fine but I separated them at rear end when moving things to new frame hope this added info helps

all below are good answers and what i would have suggested as well. now for the most minute of problems that could be the cause. i have had a brake line deteriorate on the inside with little deterioration on the outer skin of rubber. results were this, the brake wouldn't bleed correctly and would lock up the wheel for a short time. with what you're describing i'm more inclined to agree with the majority here, replace your M/C and the front lines(rubber) as well as the rear rubber line. another thing to check as well is the proportioning valve, it will have, or is supposed to have, a rubber cap. remove that and using a thin hex wrench or wire try to tickle the pin. if you look down inside of it there is a pin that will move during a brake failure or fluid replacement. if that is siezed then replace the valve, it should move slightly and easily.

Are you using the old master cylinder? If so replace it. If not have you bled the master cylinder? If you have no peddle, how did you bleed the back brakes? If your master cylinder has not been used during the 2 year restoration I would replace it.
One thing you can try is to ensure your master cylinder is full of brake fluid, and then open the bleed valve all the way and have someone STOMP on the brake pedal. Of course ensure that you tighten the bleed valve before your friend lets go of the brake pedal. If you get some brake fluid from your front brakes, keep up the method of STOMPING on the brake pedal with the bleed valve open.
I know you don't have any peddle, but you should get something to come out the bleed valve.

I actually have consistently used this technique. a million.placed a chunk of surgical tubing at the bleeder nipple and run it into a jar that incorporates about an inch or so of recent, clean fluid. Submerge the top of the tubing interior of the fluid. 2. supply the lever a bit tension and characteristic a pal crack the bleeder nipple. as soon as you sense the lever get gentle, squeeze it to the manage bars. 3. With the manage compressed, have your pal tighten the bleeder. After that, slowly release the lever. 4. do this till the brake fluid reservoir receives low yet no longer empty. Then precise it off. Repeat this technique till the fluid comes out thoroughly clean and clean devoid of bubbles. if you're having subject, you are going to be able to supply the caliper and the (closed) grasp cylinder a easy smack with a gentle face hammer to liberate any bubbles. it is in actuality what honestly everyone else instructed you to do, yet i presumed i would throw my very own tackle it available. it is subject-unfastened, yet VERY undesirable if you get it wrong.

you have a double master cylinder ! one section is for the front and the other section is for the back ! the section for the front is worn out ! get another master cylinder !
