dayz commander and steam?
OK, im not really a computer genius, so this whole dayz installation thing is a little confusing. i bought arma 2 and operation arrowhead (the bundle) and i can play them on steam. i've also downloaded Dayzcommander. Now all i have to do now is download the dayz mod? then what? =(

There is a manual way to install this mod, however you're insane if you don't use a program that does it for you.
Step#1 Install legit copies of arma2 and OA or the CO package
Step#2 Launch each of the games to create your BattleEye registry keys (get to the main menu then quit)
Step#3 Download DayzCommander http://www.dayzcommander.com/
Step#4 Run the commander to download/install all the updates/mod
Step#5 Use the commander to search for an find a server you'd like to play on.
