Has anyone heard of or used the Perfect Choice HD? I read it in someones AARP Bulletin, the September issue? I?

Sept issue of AARP Bulletin. I would like to hear some feed back on it.The price is 579.00 but this isnt a hearing aid. There are no payment plans. They want cash or credit. There is a 1 yr warranty but is limited and for 99.00 you get a 3yr warranty on everything. If you do get 3yr plan, they will repair it,but ask for 129.00 to do it. Please,if anyone has used this, let me know what you think about it. Thanking you in Advance, Doglover.....

Beware of quick fixes that seem too good to be true; usually they are.

I went to a legitimate audiologist and was able to purchase a pair of hearing aids through Care Credit, paying $20 a month. I hated adding another monthly payment, but felt I had no choice..

    Hd Hearing Aids

I have one of the PCHD's and it is wonderful !!! It's really not just an amplifier, it gives me CLARITY with my people's voices and isn't just making all the other things louder and I love that there are different levels of volume that I can adjust myself !! I have found it to be very comfortable and just so thrilled that it really does it filter out all the background noise much better than my old hearing aids from the audiologist. It took a couple days to get used to putting it in but now it's easy and the batteries last twice as long as my own hearing aids as well. I thought it was a great deal and a much better decision for me and my budget than getting 2 expensive ones from my doctor that squeal alot and make feedback noises. Oh, and did I mention that the batteries last twice as long as my old ones to ! Hallelujah !!

I think that's rather high for an amplifier. My mom was very hard of hearing and in the nursing home they gave her a small unit, hardly bigger than a pack of cigarettes, which required one or two batteries. It sat on her table and I could hear the nurses talking out there in the hall. No wires and it's just hand held and perfectly adjustable and I'm sure it doesn't cost anywhere near what you quote. I would do some checking around if I were you. Check out Radio Shack and any medical suppliers in your area....even pharmacies.

I'm wearing one now. I have no complaints. No, It is not as fancy as the several thousand dollar ones and does not have a remote etc, My hearing is no too bad, but it it has been a problem and my discrimination score at the hearing center was tested as good prior to trying this "hearing device". Especially for most people with a moderate loss and having to watch their money this is a fair choice. There are competing brands also available on the internet, but I have not had any experience with them

I saw the same ad in the AARP paper and looked it up online. It costs $35 each so the ad your seeing must be a rip off. I haven't tried these little ear pieces yet but I think I will. For $35 I can't go too far wrong.

So many answerers that did not hear it. He blamed white America? This was the bigetst moment in American history since the Gettysburg address. This speech will be taught to children 500 years from now. Except in no child left behind states where they will only be taught what is on the test.

I'm sorry but that sounds like a rip-off..you're better off going to a hearing aid specialist. and they can guarantee free repaired and have better warranties too.

If I was you I go to your local hearing center.

No. I hear too well for one, but I did look it up on the computer, and you can compare prices there and buy one on line.
