What does this guinea pig noise mean?
My guinea pigs are making a weird noise. They are rubbing their front and bottom teeth together to make a scratching noise. I know they already naw their teeth down enough so what does that noise mean?

If the noise is something like this: http://www.mgpr.org/newsite/GP_Info/Angry%20Pig.ht...
then it means your pig is angry at something. The thing causing your guinea pig to get angry could be something you overlook yourself so try to think about everything going on in the area.
If this isn't the noise you described then you might find the answer by looking at this link (it has several guinea pig noises and gives a little explanation for each): http://guineas4ever12.webs.com/yourguineasbehavior...
It could also be that your pig is chewing on something if the noise is more subtle than the first link. Sometimes when they eat a dropping you can hear them chew it a few minutes later.

I think you mean chattering. When guinea pigs chatter their teeth it usually means to back off and leave me alone because I'm angry. Try to give your guinea pigs some space and watch out for fighting because the chattering (if it is chattering) can be towards other cage mates.

Guinea pigs grind their teeth when they do that it means to leave them alone or back off. My guinea pig does it when she is out of her cage too long and wants to be put back...

Grind teeth is also a sign of discomfort and pain. My little Suki was doing it and she has stopped running and playing so I took her to her exotic vet and she has both a sinus infection and pneumonia.
