Why does my shoulder hurt and how can I fix it?

I've been having shoulder pain recently during and after I workout (push-ups - pull-ups - and benching). At first I barely noticed it after I worked out but now after one set my left shoulder hurts pretty bad, and sometimes it hurts a little when I'm not really doing anything physical. The only thing I can think of that might cause it is that I dislocated it about 7 months ago and it wasn't that bad it pop in and out really fast and it hurt for about 2 weeks but after that I hadn't had any problems until recently and I haven't done anything different. I need to know whats wrong, and what I can do to fix it because I REALLY need to be able to work out and to be in good shape right now.

    Sometimes when one gets an injury they need to stop using that part. Push-ups and pull-ups are very strenuous for shoulders. Do workouts but ease off on those major shoulder exercises. You should probably get it checked out by a doctor if it keeps hurting...

    my shoulder is really painful as well, about a year ago I slipped up on some snow/ice and damaged my AC joint, I've been having physio off and on for the last year but have been told it's going to be just a time thing, I work out too and my shoulder hurts like heck for a couple of days after I work out, but I've got to keep on doing it to keep the muscles in my back and shoulder strong and hopefully given time it will improve !

    Stop working out for about 2 weeks and see. If the pain persists, go to the doctor. I have mine hurt too and I lift weights.

    only lay down and relax your shoulder perchance even ice it. it will be because you gave your ligaments to a lot pressure to help and swing the bat. there is not something yet relax to heal it, in case you shop utilising it for those activities it really is going to by no skill heal. only provide it about 2 days.
