My Hamster is going crazy to store food?

Lately my hamster has been going crazy trying to store food. She packs it all in her mouth, and then she tries to chew through the bars of the cage so she can get out and store food someplace. I'm assuming this is all happening because the summer is ending and her instincts are telling her to store food for winter. Does anyone have any ideas about how to get her to calm down a bit?

Update:

It's not so much the hoarding that's troublesome. It's the fact that she's no longer interested in storing food inside her cage. She always wants to take it someplace outside the cage to store it. She spends all night running around with food in her mouth while she tries to find someplace to store, but nothing in the cage seems adequate for her.

Does anyone have any ideas of ways I could possibly make a place in the cage more attractive for storing food?

Hamsters are instinctive hoarders. Nothing I know of will make them stop storing food. My hamster sometimes hides treats in his bedding, and he also keeps his food bowl covered in bedding. As for chewing on the bars, that can be caused by boredom and lack of things to chew on. Curing boredom is easy, just play with them more. Getting them to chew something else is harder. Rubbing a peanut on a wood chew used to work for my hamster, but he's not as interested in that anymore. I'm going to try soaking it in apple juice next. Orange juice was unsuccessful.
