Thoughts upon the CVF programme?
Nearly a decade after they were originally announced, the QE Class Aircraft Carriers are under construction and seemingly progressing well, however not without numerous problems / changes and reversions in design configuration / type of Aircraft planned for them and ever changing Political whims.
Oppinions / thoughts upon the matter?
(for example: VSTOL or CATOBAR / "Sea-Typhoon" or F-35)

I know England does not have any carriers like the US or even France has but as the Falklands War and even recent even between Argentinia and England have proved if a nation is going to have territory in far flung areas they need to be able to project military power to that area. In modern combat that means you need air power.
These Carriers will suit what England needs. They do not need a Nimitz class carrier or the new CVN-X carrier (The Gerald Ford Class if I am correct). Further they do not have the money for it either.
Now if I were England I would continue to support the F-35 because they are now starting to make progress on it after several cost overruns but I would make sea varient of the Typhoon fighter and deploy UAV's from them as well
