for people with relatives that live far away, what is your Christmas day routine?

I'm 18 and still live with my parents and my sister. but apart from them, all my relatives live far away. we live in England, but my mum is from Scotland and my dad is from Northern Ireland. sometimes I do see my extended family on Christmas Day, but most Christmases it's just me, my parents and my sister. all my friends get spend their Christmas Days with their extended families, and I just get really jealous of them. I always have to make sure I spend Christmas Eve, Boxing Day and New Year with my friends, otherwise Christmas would be a very lonely time. it's bad enough any time of year having all my extended family living far away

I would like to know if there is anyone else out their with all their extended family living far away, and what they do with their Christmas Day? just to know I am not the only one :)
