Some of those women were gorgeous at one point, but had too much plastic surgery done to their faces... Like Big Ang, she used to be really pretty and look at her now... Sweet lady, but wow.

Marriage in the mob was about politics more than it was about love. They focused on pure, Italian bloodlines and if there aren't a whole lot of single Sicilian women around, your choices for a hot wife were kind of limited.
You married a woman for her heritage and had kids with her because that is what The Family expected you to do. You enjoyed yourself with your hot mistress.
