I was gone from this section for a pretty long amount of time(once again lol) and i came back for a few days to see what's going on, and A LOT of answers on this topic are about how The Undertaker will retire either on this year's Wrestlemania(2013), or next year's..at most(2014). So basically everyone pretty much believes that 21/22-0(or 21-1) is the furthest that this streak can go on. From my point of view though, i see a wrestler that cannot be replaced by the WWE, a gimmick that will never be outplayed, and of course it can't be copied. WWE won't benefit from making The Undertaker retiring just like any other wrestler that has already retired. Don't get me wrong, i am not saying that for example HBK, Stone Cold(even though he isn't officially retired) are not a loss. They are. And big losses to say the truth. Although somewhat at some point WWE replaced The Rock's absence, Stone Cold's absence with newer guys, like Cena, Orton, Punk, Bryan and the list goes on and on, whether it was very successfully, or less. The point im trying to make, is that The Undertaker's gimmick & legendary posture cannot be replaced and WWE, as well as Wrestlemania won't be the same without Taker. Of course, WMania is much more than just Taker(duh), and surely the show will go on, but since WWE HAS THE OPTION of making The Undertaker participating once per 1 or even 2 Wrestlemanias, i can't find any good reason, of them not doing it.

After all, he is not the classic gimmick type of wrestler that the entire lockeroom will storm out and pay respect to him. His gimmick has always been surrounded by darkness, mystery and awe. I think it will be better for both parties(Taker & WWE) if they continue having him participate at Wrestlemania once per 1or2 years, having the classic storyline of whether someone will be calling him out, or he will be coming back the weeks surrounding Wrestlemania, which will be leading in a classic feud with good promos, and the potential opponent will be threatening the streak. I agree with the fact that Undertaker is getting older(who doesn't?) but as we have been taught from the past Wrestlemanias, he has proved that he is still able to put up a 5-star match up on the grandest stage of them all and i don't see that changing for the following years to come. After all, he is not participating as a full-time wrestler anymore, and i am sure that his body can survive one match & a few promos per year.

In addition, i think the WWE won't miss the chance to book Cena(the most recognizable-iconic -for the WWE- wrestler of the decade) against Taker. That will be huge, as well as the fans will be wondering who is gonna end up winning, because if there is someone that the WWE might make, to end the streak, that's Cena. The chances will be higher than any other current wrestler in my opinion. Also, i think that he will face Punk at Mania(not sure which year), cause i see how Punk's star is growing, and he is doing a damn good job both as a heel and as a face. Furthermore, i think we will see him in 1-2 more like *squash* matches at mania. Not exactly squash, but not as intense as the past 4 manias were for him.

and to answer your question...with the current facts, my prediction would be 25-0.

The Streak just will never end, I think The Undertaker will have 2 more Wrestlemania matches : against Brock Lesnar at Wrestlemania 29 and John Cena at Wrestlemania 30 (his final match ever).

Those two would be awesome addition to The Streak. Those two would be new tests for The Streak and very tough challenges to The Streak. There's no doubt in my mind both would come very close to end the Streak, but The Undertaker, being an undead demon from Death Valley would once again find the way to extend The Streak into 22-0.

  • I think it'll end at this year or the next. If I had to lay money on it I would say at Wrestlemania 30. The WWE will want to build that up to be the match-of-matches. It'll be the main event to end all main events. To be honest, for me, The Streak is at it's absolute apex right now, and while I understand the aesthetics of concluding what is probably the greatest the greatest career in WWE history at Wrestlemania 30, that doesn't play a huge factor.

Do I think that in The Undertaker's final match, The Streak will come to an end? Yes, I do. Whether it is this year or next I'm not so sure. The Undertaker, John Cena, The Rock and Brock Lesnar are the guys that Wrestlemania is going to be built around this time around. Between the four of them, and whatever x-factor's are thrown in with CM Punk and Triple H, we could see a number of different possibilities. At this point I think that The Undertaker will end up facing either Lesnar or Cena. A rematch between Lesnar and Triple H is also entirely possible.

No matter how the card shakes down though, I think that the year that The Undertaker and John Cena finally hook up at the grandest stage of em' all will be the swan song for The Undertaker. It's just a hunch of course, but I don't think that Lesnar or The Rock will either be the man to break The Streak.

If WWE was ever thinking about ending Undertaker's streak they should really get Kurt Angle to do the job. He's a awesome performer and he and Taker have history, a feud between those fella's would be awesome to see. Then perhaps WWE could throw Brock Lesnar in there and make a triple threat match. I'm really tired of the "Triple H, Undertaker and Shawn Michaels" storyline.

I honestly think The Undertaker's done with WWE.In my opinion,i think he already retired in his last match this year at Wrestlemania 28.20-0 is the best mark to stop the streak plus he is getting old.

I'd like to see him retire undefeated. Personally I think 20-0 is a perfect place to call it an end.

He should retire 20-0. Its not believeable that he could beat brock lesnar.

19-1 would of been funny if you understand the joke. It looks like it will go on forever until he wants to stop.

It'll go 19-1. Why would Deadman Halloween win another Wrestlemania match when he has won far more than he deserves?
