Digital test had an error?

My digital test (life brand) had an error, but the stick had one line on it, which i was taking as not pregnant.. is that accurate, or do i need to test again(I really don't want to if I don't have to because they're pricy enough and I'm a cheapskate:P )? I'm breast feeding so it's not like I can wait for my period to show up.

Those digitals malfunction all the time. You can't get a result from a malfunctioning test you will need to retest. It is possible to ovulate while breastfeeding. I recommend first response early detection standard. They are reasonably priced and VERY reliable. Depending on when you may have conceived it could be too early to test. It can take up to a week after sex to conceive (depending on when you ovulate) and it takes 2 weeks after conception to show. If you aren't having periods wait 3 weeks past the last time you had unprotected sex. If you are having periods wait till its 3 days late. That way you won't have to waste money retesting.

  • Digital's are crap. Get a real one.
