Raul vs David Villa, who's better?

Man, I see the "he spent the whole good years in one club" impact has done its job. And Madrid fans are mad because he has joined Barcelona because I'm sure they all loved him when he played with Valencia. And then they accuse Messi because he doesn't change teams.

David Villa is one of the reasons why Spain are so successful these last years. Top scorer in Euro 2008 and one the top scorers in the World Cup. You saw how much Spain missed him in the Euros. He is Spain all time top scorer, despite playing far less games than Raul.

Let's not even start talking on club level. He did great with teams like Sporting Gijon and Zaragoza. Raul played with Zidane, Ronaldo, Figo, Carlos, Beckham and many other superstars.

Raul is just a goal poacher, a player that spends 80 % of the time on the pitch in the penalty area. He is a Inzaghi, Trezeguet, Nistelrooy type of player. Villa belongs in another category. He actually has some skills.

David Villa has a lot of support Xavi,Iniesta,Alonso,Silva, World Class players. but Raul never had that luxury.

Lets see Villa since he started in la roja he has had 52 goals.. 8 more than Raul in total career matches for Spain. Villa has played a big impact in Spain in euro 2008 and on the road to winning the world cup.. but since this is international ima have to go with Villa if it was clubwise better than i would go for Raul.

Raul is Spain greatest player.He was not technically talented like Villa,but the reason he got so much recognition was because he was perhaps the smartest on the pitch.He read the games very well.Villa is a better international scorer,but I'd trust Raul.He stepped up in the big games and knew exactly how he wanted the play to go along.Both are good player no doubt.

Villa had a big impact in Euro 2008? He scored 4 goals, all in the group stage, 3 of them against Russia in the very first game in a 4-1 win, he then scored against Sweden in the 92nd minute in the second group stage game and that was it. He didn't score in the final group game nor ANY in the knockout stage, missing majority of the final through injury.

2012 Euro proved they didn't need him although he was vital in the World Cup but Raul any day, if he had this generation he'd be far better than Villa
