Believers: In your opinion, what would a person's life be like without God assigning a purpose to it?

It is that of an unbeliever or an atheist. I know what its like to live that way. It is very empty; a chasing after things to fulfill needs that are never be satiated.

In a real sense, all humans have a purpose, which is to glorify God. But almost none will do it. By default, they render themselves useless, except to help the earth eventually fail to support its inhabitants (aka, race suicide).

you don't need my opinion. there are billions of people who have not appropriated themselves before their God and do live without purpose, the end result being a hopeless hereafter... all living beings are made to serve the living One. we all have the choice to surrender to His way or go on our own. on your own is not where you want to be despite all the celebration of independence in this modern society. there is no greater excitement than KNOWING God is ushering your steps in this world.

scripture states that a stillborn child is more fortunate than one who leads a long life choosing not to believe in God

Self seeking and selfish as those in the world are today. Jesus loves a giver and those of the world hate to give.

that's rather weak of anyone's character, and a waste of a lifetime too.
