NASA is a representation for Taxation. Get it?

Just another reason to get money from you.

It's like War... If you convince enough people that the bible might say it's okay to seek revenge and that killing is okay as long as you have a good reason behind it - you can convince them to willingly give you money that they use War as an reason for.

NASA is not a waste of money. It is because of NASA that we have the knowledge and safety products that some of us take for granted every day. NASA brought us the ability to use computers. Also a helpful hint is if you would learn how to spell right then people might take your questions a little more seriously. I agree that we do not need to send as much money to other countries like Haiti. We should instead use that money to help our fellow citizens of the USA.

NASA is a government agency, it needs government money to exist. NASA is one of the few federal programs I agree with. Sending people to the moon might not have been cost affective but we learned a massive amount and got a whole generation interested in space and science. Then there are all of the less expensive and more practical things that NASA does, like working with NOAA to monitor the atmosphere.

NASA needs money because where else are they gonna get their materials? They have to hire people to build them, design them, and operate them. Like most businesses, they have to pay their employees. The more money invested into NASA, there will be smarter people wanting the job. But if the salaries are not high, you aren't gonna want to work there. Like if McDonalds paid you $50 per hour instead of $7, would you work there?

Because maintaining America's place as a beacon of spirit, adventure, exploration and scientific endeavor does not come cheaply.

If there is ANY body in America that speaks to America's QUIET greatness, NASA is it. Oh, and by the by, the number of private companies in Houston, Tx and Huntsville Al (to name just two places) that benefit from NASA's continuing achievements adds even more to NASA's worth.

NASA inspires. You remember the pricey bail-out? That was more than NASA's running budget... for 50 years. You can't put a price tag on progress.

    You make no sense whatsoever.

First you imply NASA doesn't need money, then you say they should use money. Which is it?

Where, exactly, do you think "what they have" comes from?

    effing duh
