Gay marriage is bad according to Christians. Incest is OK?

And yes Christians believe in the Bible's family values, but the bible doesn't support incest, neither does Christianity.

Consensual incest appears to have been forbidden to the ancient theocracy of Israel. If you build a time machine and go back to ancient Israel, be sure not to have consensual incest or eat shellfish.

When it comes to LAW, an adult, regardless of gender, sexual orientation, race, or religion, should be free to share love, sex, residence, and marriage with ANY consenting adults, without prosecution, bullying, or discrimination. Don't like it? Don't do it.

Edit: Taking the Bible as a whole, Adam and Eve were the first and only humans. They had sons and daughters. The inescapable conclusions from this is that there was a lot of incest in the beginning. Also, after The Flood, Noah, his wife, his three sons and their wives were the only people left in the world, so the world was repopulated at least through first cousins pairing up, and perhaps closer relations than that.

Because a story is in the Bible doesn't mean it's supported. IF you read on you would see what troubles came from old Lots brood. It was put in as a don't do this story.

Also, I am Christian and I support gay marriage, it's legal in many countries, like Canada, Spain, etc that have a religious majority.

Why not go for the first story - Adam and Eve. Since god only created 2 humans & eve was made from adams rib, the incest and narrow gene pool mixing must have been astounding.

Incest is legal in some places around the world, and contrary to popular popular belief, (cousins not included) those jurisdictions do not include the US states of Alabama and Kentucky. It's legal in in some of the world's most industrialized and powerful countries and the sky hasn't fallen yet. I seldom hear of problems with inbreeding where it is not prosecuted.

Yeah, according to the Bible, incest is okay. This is mainly due to the lack of knowledge back when the Bible was first written.

You can pick and choose how you wish to interpret the Bible. As far as I am concerned, people base their Bible biases on the assumption that they're properly interpreting it. Who knows? Maybe incest and gay marriage are both okay, maybe they're both wrong... It's all just a subjective mess.

FINALLY! no one else has even known this verse of believed me when i quoted this. the bible is so messed up. i also like how god decides to burn down two cities because they were full of gay people. if "god" was still performing miracles today san francisco would be burnt to the ground, and i'v heard some christians say that's what the huge earthquake that happened was for. it's sick.
