Protestants or evangelicals. Do you have a specific prayer corner or "altar"?

I dunno if I`m either, but I have an altar with the bible on it and sometimes I try to make my own holy water on it. I know, it sounds like I am ghetto and can`t afford church clothes or something, but its quite the opposite. I just don`t trust too many churches to supporting my ideas and I rather like the thought of God blessing an altar in my very occupational space(cannot call it my home, because I don`t pay the bills, I`m 17). However, I also use the altar for plainly a table at times, and do occasional practices there as well.
