Rick yes what i was sort of thinking too written long after events, i mean yeah so was most of the stuff in the bible about Jesus but not as long after as this

From the reports about that fragment, it is said to have been written some 4 centuries after Christ was on the earth. Since by that time, Catholics had already created many "fables" about the Christ, it doesn't surprise me that someone (the author of the note is unknown) could write what was on the fragment.
This in contrast to the Gospels, which are clearly written by people of the 1st Century, 2 of which were Apostles, and Mark and Luke. There are 1000s of fragments of copies of their writings available to study and some of them date back to the 1st and 2nd centuries.
To sum it up, it means nothing to me.
