are we becoming less tolerant as a nation.?

when we see headlines like soldier shot by Afghan policeman- does that make you want to say pull the troops out leave the Afghan people to the ravages of the Taliban. or when you see headlines like film incites murder of Us ambassador,do you think we should close down the embassies and end the diplomatic missions to countries that support terrorist activities. I see myself as a fairly tolerant

person I am not racist or an advocate of discrimination on the basis of nationality, I am proud of my country but I see a once tolerant society becoming less so and history has a way of repeating itself.

The economic crisis in many countries are the beginnings of a crisis that has happened before which led to war on a global scale, religious freedom that we take for granted do not happen in many middle eastern countries, they are set on a path that will lead to confrontation it is inevitable unless a change of philosophical differences can be brought about and i do not see that happening soon, do you?

Quite the opposite I think. When you look at the present Government and the last one we had, you must agree that we have indeed become a tolerant society. Never have so many people been s@@@t upon and still stand when God save the Queen is played.

Yes the world has changed around us and very quickly at that. We are faced by religious fanatics who feel it their right to kill and maim for the sake of their religion.

We as a civilised people do not really understand the motives or the cultures which have slowly joined our way of life, but we tolerate it.

I am sure however that we as a people do have an ignition point and than stand back.

    Have a nice day.

sure you're incorrect. We were utilising the diplomatic course for 15 years with reference to Iraq, we even used the UN. international kinfolk failed and so did the UN. The UN did although get extremely wealthy off the deal. i'm questioning we did our section. attempt choosing up a historic previous e book and getting the information. 9/11 changed into purely the authentic of an extremely lengthy line of terrorist attacks on human beings around the international and u.s.. So again...you want to do your homework. Do you particularly particularly actual imagine that terrorist may be negotiated with? we've had the tolerance of saints, so sure you're incorrect. Very very incorrect.

I think the UK is becoming MORE tolerant.

We tolerate Illegal immigrants living here and can't deport them for trivial reasons.

We tolerate being insulted by other nations.

We tolerate the European Parliament telling us what to do.

We tolerate criminals and treat them nicely instead of putting them away.

We tolerate our politicians promising one thing and delivering another via a succession of U turns.

Sorry to go on about it!

being tolerant is a 2 way streak. the islamofascists can't claim they are tolerant if they don't respect those who don't agree with their barbaric mentality.
