Is liberalism a white ideology?
do you think that liberalism is primarily an ideology that appeals to white people? societies that are largely white tend to promote similar views on issues like secularism, mass immigration, gay rights, and political correctness that focuses on protecting the feelings of supposedly oppressed groups. these liberal beliefs don't have much traction in nonwhite countries. these kinds of issues don't have much of a following in places like ,say, bangladesh or new guinea. so is liberalism mainly a "white" ideology???
thank you everyone for your answers. i want to quickly respond to some of the main points that you guys have made.
in talking about liberalism i was referring to contemporary liberalism, not the "classical" liberalism of the founding fathers. so i had in mind people like john kerry or ted kennedy rather than george washington or thomas jefferson.
i do believe that liberalism is PRIMARILY (not exclusively) a white ideology because it seems to appeal mostly to whites, not nearly as much to nonwhites. it is important to understand that "perspective" matters here. so saying that american blacks largely vote Democrat doesn't refute anything. black americans vote for liberal politicians mainly because they think it is in their economic interest to do so (and blacks tend to be more socially conservative than whites in america but that hasn't won the republicans any votes over the years because they don't vote on those issues).

take a look at sub-saharan african blacks. they may support socialist economic policies but they are not socially liberal. those are traditional societies that largely reject western liberal values. gay rights is not a big issue in third world countries.
citing china as an example doesn't work either. btw, they have been moving in a capitalist direction for years, but even if they were communists that doesn't mean that they have similar social views to the ones promoted by white liberals.
japan and south korea are nonwhite democratic and economically advanced countries, but these countries don't support mass immigration into their countries. and that is despite people saying that japan needs immigrants due to its aging population.
as far as liberalism being a jewish ideology, i wouldn't put it quite that way. the political correctness of today may have roots in the cultural marxism espoused by the frankfurt school but only whites seem to buy into it. those views are
those views are not embraced by nonwhites.
it does look like contemporary liberalism is largely a white ideology. only large numbers of whites support things like mass immigration, gay rights, political correctness, and secular morality. these issues just don't seem to have much of a following in asia, africa, etc.
and because nonwhite americans support liberal politicians does not mean they would support these liberal views if things were reversed. whites don't seem to have the racial solidarity that nonwhites have. that is why white liberals are in favor of things like mass immigration and affirmative action whereas nonwhite countries don't share those views. again, perspective matters.

Your question implies that whites and blacks (or other races) are programed to think a certain way. Rather, it is culture that shapes belief systems. So perhaps since western society is more liberal has less to do with the fact that they are predominantly white than the influence of western culture in general and they just happen to be more white.
Obviously culture in influenced by a lot of different things (environment, history, disease, war, etc.) So perhaps liberalism as an ideology is better described as a "western" ideology rather than a white ideology. Blacks and Asians and Polynesians and mixed race can also be liberal.

Well not completely. I am not white, I am an Indian and I do agree that the ideas of liberty could have never existed in large scale if not for the white men. I simply accept that the white people think more broadly than my brown race. And the reason I feel that is behind the success of the white is their land. Europe was always the most fertile land which was rich in minerals and the best climatic conditions. May be this was the reason that while the rest of the world struggled against starvation and poverty, the white men had time to think beyond the law. They were the main reason behind the drastic change of age. Yes, other races like we Indians or the chinese and Arabs have contributed greatly to the world but we have to accept that without the white men the world would be in a medieval era. White men still have their influence all around the globe. Everyone respects them. But God loves everyone.

Conservativism or liberalism: which ideology appeals to much less advanced men and women? Fashionable opinion is that conservative idea has been in comparison with the crude reasoning expertise of a small child that are not able to believe globally and has a black/white view of all morality, much less developed humans? I do not take heed to what a bunch self righteous elitist must say about folks. It can be the individuals who reside in a political/ideological bubble who are the "much less developed", if that the term you desire to make use of. I proposal liberals were in opposition to labeling persons and making generalizing judgments?

At the risk of being culturaly arrogant,liberalism as we know it today is not racially based but knowledge based .Generally the most knowlegable and educated peoples of the world have been white but as we can see that is changing as other racial groups gain knowlege and education.
China of course is a prime example.As their knowledge and education grows so do their demand for freedom,liberties,democracy and liberalism
In respect to conservatism, this ideology is behind in developement compared to liberalism as conservatives are much less intelligent and much more racist,bigotted and intolerant as many emerging peoples are .

I'm not sure places like Russia embrace a particularly liberal ethos, despite being predominantly white, along with the rest of Slavic Europe.

No, it's a Jewish one. The tenets of modern social liberalism was brought about by Jewish activists, and if you do not believe me, just look it up. Whites naturally have a sense of solifarity with our race. What is going on in the minds of PC whites is a very artificial, alien mindset. If any other civilisation thought the way white liberals do they would be doomed to fail.

YOU MAY BE ABLE TO CORRECTLY SAY THAT LIBERALISM IS MADE UP OF A MAJORITY OF WHITES.
HERE ARE SOME CREDITS TO THIS:
MOST NORTHERN EUROPEAN SOCIAL DEMOCRACIES ARE CONSIDERED LIBERAL, THEIR POPULATIONS ARE HUGELY WHITE.
MOST EDUCATED PEOPLE ARE LIBERAL AND MOST OF THE EDUCATED ARE WHITE.
RELIGION HAS MUCH MORE INFLUENCE IN THE COUNTRIES YOU MENTIONED, AND RELIGION(TODAY) IS MORE CONSERVATIVE.
BUT, TO SAY IT IS A WHITE IDEOLOGY WOULD BE WRONG.
PLUS COMMUNISM IS CONSIDERED LIBERAL AND CHINA IS 1/5 OF WORLD PEOPLES

No, liberalism is a bourgeois ideology.
The reactionary politics of other countries reflects the state of their economic conditions and their development. It has nothing to do with race.
