jeep 44/35 rear diff?
had gears going down so bought a 44 which is what the dealer said 44with 355 gears --well it had a bent axle so they sent a axle to me was too big -got one from oreillys for a 44 it was also to big --isnt their only one size axle for a 44 in a grand cherokee? im thinking they sold me a 35 and its biting me in the backside--
i rhink the salvage yard sold me a dana 35 not a 44 like i ordered since dana 44 axles will not fit

look at a picture of a Dana 35 and compare it to the axle you purchased from the junk yard. We have no way to tell you what you bought
There are big and small bearing 44 axles

Here's a thought, take the old axle with you a go to the salvage yard and match it.
