LOL @ AFL Nerd.
Collingwood were outplayed from the first bounce. The Swans capitalised on playing to Collingwoods strengths of contested footy and kicking directly into their forward line. Admit you got beaten by the better side and that Josh Kennedy played better than Dane Beams and Dane Swan together.

I think the era of Collingwood being a contender is over.... I mean sure one would expect they would be strong enough to make the top 8 next year, but they are a spent force. They had their window with the multiple finals appearances, lost a few finals, won a GF, drew one, and lost one. Perhaps you could say that they slightly under achieved, but the fans would be content at the fact that Collingwood have managed to annoy the phuck out of most supporters for half a decade.
So I think 2012 marks their descent towards their former residence in the old dusty moist the cellar that many once called home.

What happened is that people decided that us having a really bad game last week somehow meant Collingwood played good.
It wouldn't have mattered who we played, when you continually kick the ball to 3 opposition players you'll never win the game.
In the end, the result was as I expected. And in case anyone wants to claim that I'm only saying that now that they lost:

@ Mick
You should go back to school son.
Learn to speak ENGLISH. Get your spelling up to year 1 standard and then make an effort to be intelligent by leaving the offensive language out of your conversations.
If I see you using that language on here again I promise I will make a complaint.
As for abusing other users on this website, that is worth a complaint in itself.
Collingwood played their part in eliminating the WCE last week.

What an ABSOLUTE IDIOT you are .. LOL ! Grow up,and get a life ! Sydney were too good on the night, and deserved their win, especially after the luxury of a weeks rest ! Collingwood did the best they could , in the past fortnight after the death and lose of one of their mates, a former player and teamate . Your question suggests to me, you are nothing much more than a total and complerte TURD !

I am not writing collingwood off for next year just yet, to do so especially in your case as a cats fan is somewhat retarded. Hawthorn are still the team to beat this year.
