According to his taxes, why did Romney pay $4 mil in charitable deductions....?

...but only CLAIM a little more than $2 mil?

Could it be because by claiming the full amount it would have lowered his tax rate from 14.1% to 10%, and that would make his "I don't pay less than 13% in taxes" claim a lie?

And, is this another moment like his "illegal immigrant gardeners"?

"I'm running for office for Pete's sake, for this ONE YEAR, we can't have higher tax rates".

In other words, has Romney again done something only because he is "running for office"?

In how many prior years did Romney claim the FULL amount, and pay a tax rate UNDER 13%?
Is THAT why he will not release his taxes, because he knows they will show him to be a liar?

So the important thing here, in your mind, is what he was thinking when he made that decision? It's not the fact that the man gave over $4,000,000 to charity last year.

Your question, and your seeming attitude towards this situation just completely prove the point that Liberals don't care about outcome. The outcome was that he gave an enormous amount of money to charity and paid more than he had to in taxes. Liberals only care about intentions, not outcomes. That's why you all will never get it.

What matters is what happens. Not what you want to happen. Not the reason that it happened. But that it happened.

This all ties directly back to the whole notion that liberals seem to share that your intentions are what matters. 

Having good intentions doesn't necessarily get a single thing done.

I would rather have a leader that gets things done. I really don't care what they were thinking while they were getting things done. Just get things done.

As an effective cost, many probably have. But the extra fascinating quantity was once how much he gave to charity. Romney is an perfect philanthropist. He offers abundantly out of his own pocket and maintains it to himself.
