How to keep from getting into our garbage can.?
We live in a woodsy part of town and we get a lot of bears. We tried ammonia and that did not work.

No wonder, they're attracted to ammonia ( it smells like pee). Vinegar or moth balls kills the garbage smell some. Lock down the trash cans, ask your local Conservation officer.
